This Thistle Still Life watercolor painting is based on the invasive Canada Thistle introduced to prevent soil erosion. It grows horizontally in the ground from its roots, so it is difficult to kill by cutting it down. It is a good pollinator and has a lovely flower display, but just not a nice plant in your yard. Painting is framed.
